LRWC Expands Online With First PAGCOR-Licensed Online Bingo Gaming Site, BingoPlus

Philippine gaming conglomerate Leisure & Resorts World Corp. (LRWC) disclosed to Philippine Stock Exchange that they just bagged the first-ever online traditional bingo (OTB) license from the state-run gaming regulator, Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR), making them the first online bingo platform to secure a license and operate in the Philippines.

Operated under the LRWC’s subsidiary AB Leisure Exponent Inc. (ABLE), the new BingoPlus brand can now offer bingo games on the online platform to be played via computers or mobile devices. The new online bingo platform will expand ABLE’s on-site game offerings, initially available at the 18 Bingo Bonanza game halls operating in shopping malls all over Metro Manila.

BingoPlus, as an online traditional bingo platform, offers the opportunity to bring home millions in prizes. It has a 21+ reminder badge, a live bingo session, and the option to buy or generate bingo cards once the players log into their account. It also offers all the games previously available on LRWC’s electronic gaming system (EGS) under the Total Gamezone Xtreme, Inc. (TGXI) brand, along with a yet to be developed option for sports betting.

Andy Tsui, LRWC’s newly appointed president, said BingoPlus is just “one of the company’s major strategies to strengthen [its] online platforms.” It is, according to him, a means “to provide more and better playing opportunities to customers during the pandemic and beyond.”

“OTB is a great way to enjoy bingo from the comfort of one’s home without having to miss out on social interaction and the chance to win huge prizes,” he said.

It transforms the way traditional bingo is played by combining the “excitement of the old and the convenience of new technology,” he added.

It also announced that the soft launch of BingoPlus is just the beginning, as there are plans to expand their OTB offerings to other traditional bingo sites nationwide.

BingoPlus is the latest amongst the numerous fantastic additions to LRWC’s product lines in its bid to innovate while promoting safe and responsible iGaming. It is also expected to become one of its main revenue streams in the future.

In September, LRWC also secured PAGCOR accreditation for a new retail and online sportsbook for local users – making them the third company to receive online sports betting accreditation alongside MegaSportsWorld (MSW PH) and Jade SportsBet.
